New Release: Fruits of Our Labor

Our fourth publication for Shiraki Press launched today: Fruits of Our Labor by Ian Patterson.

It’s a near-future sci-fi in which women have achieved parthenogenesis: the ability to conceive and give birth without a partner. It explores how the world changes and where power shifts when men became unnecessary to the continuation of the species. It’s deeply thought-provoking and a strong conversation driver.

You can read about the design of the book here.

You can pick up your copy from Shiraki Press or look for it at your favorite book retailer. Buying direct from our website is the best way to support our press, but I’ll also recommend Bookshop.org as an amazing way to support your local indie bookstore. You can even request it at your local library!

Okay, that’s enough from me. Go read Ian’s book! ❤
